UH fills out board of regents - Tampa Bay Business Journal:

John Holzman, a retirec federal Foreign Service officer, and Honolulu attorney James Lee are the newestyUH regents. Their terms startef July 1. Holzman is a senior volunteetr mediator at the Mediation Center of the Pacific in Honolulh and involved with the Senioe Citizen Visitor Programat UH. Lee is a partner in the law firm of Devensx Nakano Saito LeeWong & Ching. He previously was managing directorof Let’s Eat the parent company of Sam Choy’e Restaurants. Board members of the public universituy system are nominated by an advisoryt council and selectedby Gov. Linda Appointments are subject to approval bythe Senate.
Six regents who had been servintg on an interim basis since Januaru pendingSenate confirmation, have also been Lingle was ordered by the Hawaii Statw Supreme Court in December to replacer six prior regents whose terms had expired June 30, 2008. Carl Carlson Jr.
