Proceeds from the auctiojn will be used to support entrepreneurship programs at the business TheBloch School, along with Team Garmin-Slipstream, a professional cyclingy team primarily sponsored by Olathe-based , is auctioning the trip on , a populaf online auction site. The auction winner receives a trip to Pariw forfour people, passes to team staging areas and sponsor seating near the finish line of this year’sw Tour de France in central Paris, an evenrt already hyped by the return of American cyclist Lance Armstrong. The auctiohn ends June 11. As of Tuesday afternoon, 11 bids had pushede the auction priceto $4,049.99.
“Entrepreneurship is somethingf we teach every day at theBlocb School,” Michael Song, director of the Institut e for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Bloch said in a written “Given the importance of fundinfg these vital education programs, it’s something we had to exhibirt as well in this case. All funds raised from this event will be used to help trainh future student entrepreneurs enrolled at the Blochb Schoolof Business.
